OUR STUDIO ACTIVITIES:

JANAK KHENDRY DANCE COMPANY is dedicated to serving emerging and established dancers, choreographers of all disciplines and the dance  audiences and for their benefit we presents several studio activities .

To develop artist-audience understanding and appreciation we present emerging and established dancers, choreographers and dance companies of all dance disciplines. The invited artists talk about their interest in dance, their artistic development, their creative process and the pains and the pleasures of being an artist. There is a constant dialogue between the artists and the audiences. They develop an understanding and appreciation for each other which cannot exist without communication. This series also helps us develop new audiences for our guest artists and for our company.

LET US TALK: To develop a support system among dancers and choreographers we present series of discussions. We have meetings where dancers and choreographers of all disciplines meet to discuss their work, possibilities of sharing programmes and venues and building a support system among the fellow artists.

LECTURE SERIES: To develop further appreciation for the arts we present lecture series on art, dance, music and art history by important scholars.
